If you would like more information, or have any ideas yourself, please contact us!

We can come pick up artwork if necessary! Just let us know when you have some ready! Please make sure the student prints their name clearly on the back in pencil so we can include them in print materials!

How can I/my students get involved?

A beautiful assortment of ideas expressed from the perspective of each child from their respective culture will be used to create the installation, “Visions & Voices of Our Children”.

Artwork

Have your students create a work on paper:

Another, separate part of the installation will deal with an aquatic environment with trout (or similar fish forms) in paper mache. We need lots of them and in varying sizes. (We would love to have some really huge ones!) Again – the style they are painted in is up to you but would prefer not realistic and definitely NOT Disney style.

Installation Teams

We will also be building “installation teams” and would like serious art/design/curatorial students to be involved. This will take place next fall when the exhibition is being installed, but let me know now so I can schedule you/your class/students if you/they are interested.

Lectures

We will have various lectures by the visiting artists in a number of venues and at the Civic Center. We will keep you posted on when and where so you can have your students join as you think it would be valuable to them.
